Das interkulturelle education wirbt für wechselseitigen Respekt, für Toleranz und
Vertrauen. Jugendliche unterschiedlicher Herkunft werden dazu angeregt,
Gemeinsamkeiten zu entdecken und Trennendes besser zu verstehen.
In dieser Arbeit wird zunächst auf den Begriff der Interkulturalität eingegangen.
Anschließend wird die interkulturelle Kompetenz erläutert und beschrieben. Im
Zusammenhang mit der interkulturellen Kompetenz wird auf das Thema
interkulturelles Lernen erläutert. Hier werden die verschiedenen Kompetenzen und
Phasen erörtert, um daraufhin auf das interkulturelle education einzugehen. Mit
diesem Vorwissen wird interkulturelles Lernen mit Schule in Verbindung gebracht

Der Ursprung dieser Idee zum Thema liegt in einem Pädagogikseminar, das ich an der Universität Potsdam besucht habe. Das Seminar befasste sich mit der Theorie und der Praxis des Kinderspiels.
Für mich battle interessant zu erfahren, inwieweit sich die Reformpädagogen in ihren Ansichten über das Spiel unterscheiden.
Im ersten Abschnitt werde ich auf unterschiedliche Definitionen des Spiels, Ansichten und gemeinsame Merkmale verschiedenster Spieltheorien kurz eingehen.
Wenn guy vom Spiel spricht, sollte guy auch zwischen verschiedenen Spielformen unterscheiden können. Auf ausgesuchte Spielformen werde ich daher im Anschluss des Abschnittes „Definitionen und Merkmale von Spiel“ näher eingehen. Beide Abschnitte dienen zur Klärung zentraler Begriffe.
Bei der Fülle der Reformpädagogen suchte ich mir zwei Reformpädagogen, Célestin Freinet und Maria Montessori, heraus. Ihre pädagogischen Konzepte sind bis heute erhalten geblieben und stellen erfolgreich eine replacement zur herkömmlichen Schule dar. Vielleicht lag es ja an ihren pädagogischen Konzepten, die ich im Kapitel „Pädagogische Konzepte von Maria Montessori und Célestin Freinet“ auszugsweise vorstellen werde. Dort sind auch ihre Lebensdaten aufgeführt, um sich einen Überblick über ihr Leben zu schaffen und sie ein wenig näher kennen zu lernen.
Der nächste Abschnitt „Spiel bei Maria Montessori und Célestin Freinet – Ein Vergleich“ ist der eigentliche Kern meiner Arbeit. Hier werde ich auf die beiden Ansichten hinsichtlich des Spiels in ihrer Pädagogik eingehen und werde mögliche Gründe für ihre Ansichten aufführen. Ebenso in diesem Kapitel werde ich, wenn möglich, die Integration des Spiels im Unterricht beider Pädagogen beleuchten.
Die Frage, inwieweit das Spiel überhaupt in den Unterricht einer Schule gehört, habe ich ausgelassen und dessen Beantwortung sei dem Leser selbst überlassen. Eine Fülle von Kritikern und Befürwortern, hinsichtlich des Spiels in der Schule, beschäftigten sich ausführlich mit dieser Frage. Dessen Betrachtung alleine könnte ein weiteres Thema für eine Hausarbeit sein.
Die Literatur, die ich benutzt habe, sind größtenteils von Montessori oder Freinet selbst verfasst worden.
